You will learn how Swiss Re selects risks and how senior management considers risk adjusted performance in business decisions.Role's descriptionSupport key tasks within the Property & Casualty Team of Risk Aggregation & Analytics:Provide Analysis of change commentaries on assigned P&C potentials.Understand and use the models implemented for generating risk metrics.Analyze model input data and run calculations for regulatory reports and quarterly deliverables.Ensure timely delivery of all reportsSupport legal entities in ad hoc requests related to the changes in risk profiles.Understand Swiss Re's Internal Capital Model and take lead in Property and Casualty risk's analysisThe role is part of the Risk Aggregation & Analytics (RAA) team and you will report into the Head RAA, Bangalore.About You4+ years of relevant experience in re-/insurance industry preferably Property & Casualty experience.Basic knowledge about solvency frameworks and regulations (e.g. Solvency II, Swiss Solvency Test)Understanding of underwriting risk and/or financial market riskBe able to deliver under pressure and communicate openly in case of obstaclesKnowledge of at least one programming language (preferable MATLAB, R or Python)Team player with excellent interpersonal, writing and analytical skillsActuarial papers requiredSkillsGood communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical skills as well as high interest in quantitative tasks.Self-starter with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders in an international, multi-cultural and diverse environment.About Swiss ReSwiss Re is one of the world's leading providers of reinsurance, insurance and other forms of insurance-based risk transfer, working to make the world more resilient.
