Nasdaq Technology is looking for a passionate Sofware Developer Specialist with a focus on Development Pipelines in Cloud, to join the Bangalore technology center in India. The Development Pipeline team's vision is to enable Nasdaq developer teams around the world to develop software, get rapid feedback and deliver on their commitment with a traceable, measurable results on a low maintenance scalable toolchain. Besides working with your engineering colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. Your role and responsibilities : As an engineer in the Development Pipeline team you are p art of supporting an ongoing transformation for our products. Using cloud services and tools like Kubernetes, Terraform and Helm. You g uide and support the development organizatio n in building software and systems offering outstanding processes. Build and in operate services l ike GitLab for source code, GitLab/Jenkins for build scheduling and SonarQube for static code analysis and security auditing. Using Conan, Maven or Gradle for build automations and the produced artifacts are managed through Artifactory. Leverage what you learn every day to the benefit of the team and our end users. Contribute your experience and recommendations to standups, planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings. We expect you to have: 6+ years of overall experience & 3+ years in working with tooling for Developer efficiency or building software or build & release. Experience in GitLab/Jenkins ; SonarQube. Using Conan, Maven, or Gradle for build automation the produced artifacts are managed through Artifactory. Proven experience and a genuine curiosity about the flows of how to build and distribute code and binaries in supporting agile processes Passion for driving development efficiency through encouraging automation, agile processes, and modern tools' usage within a large organization with a diverse set of languages and development methods A strong inner drive to continuously modernize, implement, and evangelize to drive the adoption of sophisticated development pipelines that enable engineers to continue to be exciting Knowledge in agile development methods and how to best support them Education Qualification : Bachelor/ Master in computer science or related areas and specializations. It would be great if you Financial industry knowledge Knowledge in agile development methods and how to best support them Experience with infrastructure as code and a matching approach Experience with running critical CICD infrastructure in public cloud using orchestration Use of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery technology and processes Experience with Cloud, containers, and orchestration tooling like K8s.
