Those intrigued by the prospect of contributing to the digital transformation journey of a Fortune 500 company are encouraged to explore more details about the function through the providedPurpose of the roleThe Digital and Technology team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a D&T Analyst I – Data Stewardship. This role will report into Asst D&T Manager – Data Stewardship in India and functionally collaborate with stakeholders across the Enterprise teams. It is an Individual contributor role. This role has ownership and accountability for data quality monitoring, data remediation and cataloging of data governance rules in the Enterprise Master Data Domains.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Monitor execution of Data Quality Rules across multiple Master Data domains using established dashboards/tools.
Identify Data Quality issues in the respective Master Data Domains and drive remediation by co-ordinating with the appropriate Data Element Owners and Data Stakeholders.
Perform Root Cause Analysis to understand data quality issues and help prevent recuring issues.
Ensure data assets are accurately cataloged in the enterprise Data Cataloging tool (Alation) with proper metadata.
Support the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of data quality standards and process.
Collaborate with Senior Data Stewards, Data domain leads and Master Data operations team members.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years of total experience. Relevant experience 2-3 years.
Good understanding of Master Data Domains i.e. Vendor, Material, Customer, Plant, etc.
Experience in SAP master data domains
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail with the ability to identify patterns and inconsistencies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of Data Governance strategies and processes
Experience with Collibra, (or any other Data Quality Tools), Alation and/or other data governance tools.
Exposure to work in SQL
Exposure to Agile Methodologies (ADO, etc)
