ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead market research initiatives to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and emerging industry trends, ensuring data-driven decision-making.- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth, expand the customer base, and drive revenue.- Arrange and attend business meetings with existing and prospective clients, building positive relationships and identifying their objectives- Promote the company's products/services by addressing or predicting clients' objectives, and develop sales and marketing strategies in collaboration with business representatives- Take a lead role in developing new business proposals, presentations, and nurturing opportunities and partnerships through sales meetings and events such as exhibitions and conferences- Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short, medium, and long-term targets- Manage, mentor, and monitor the BD team, setting performance goals, analyzing team performance, and providing training, support, and motivation to drive productivity and ensure achievement of sales targets.QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- Master's degree in Agricultural/ business administration, marketing, or any other related field. One must have experience in agribusiness or agribusiness development- Proven working experience as a business development manager or a relevant role- Experience in online marketing and digital sales is a plus- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM softwarePREFERRED SKILLS- A strong sense of creativity aids in the process of thinking of new product ideas and solving problems creatively.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,combined with negotiation abilities, enhance interactions with clients and stakeholders.- Experience in BD techniques- Great problem-solving skills.- Ability to pay attention to details.- Ability to multitask efficiently - Good business sense.
