Job Description:
  • Develops contacts and relationships with new and existing customers to sell products, introduce new or alternative product lines, and grow sales; receives direction in limited circumstances.
  • Ensures retention of existing business by developing working relationships with all levels of site-management and performs related account management activities; utilizes technical service or other sales personnel to perform day to day account management activities when appropriate.
  • Develops sales and related business strategies on a regional level with little oversight; sales area is generally large in complexity and scope, has a considerable sales volume, and includes several business segments.
  • Responds to questions and concerns from customers, applies a thorough understanding of product lines and related application methods, and ensures customer satisfaction; provides direction to other personnel when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
  • Applying advanced sales and related business principles and practices.
  • Developing and implementing sales and related business strategies.
  • Applying thorough industry specific sales and technical concepts.
  • Developing and strengthening relationships with customers and contacts.
  • Giving sales and industry presentations.
  • Working with all levels of management.
  • PC skills; Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); and other applications as required.
  • Communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
Qualifications:EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3-5 years of Sales experience of which experience in B2B sales within the paint and/or coatings industry preferred.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or BE/B.Tech or equivalent education and experience.
