The role will involve the design and transformation of our technology environment, to deliver superior automation, user experiences and integration across various platforms.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including senior management, IT teams, and Version 1 Consulting Practices, to understand requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure technical designs
Develop a technical roadmap and implementation plan based upon a current vs. future state, aligned with Business objectives in a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
Develop comprehensive architectural designs for technology solutions, considering factors such as automation, integration, scalability, performance and security
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical standards
Evaluation new and emerging technologies, frameworks and tools to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring that architectural practices are followed throughout project lifecycles
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications and implementation plans
Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations of technical designs and implementations to ensure compliance with architectural standards and industry best practices
Facilitate the implementation and integration of technology platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Proven track record of improving technology processes and effectiveness through automation.
10+ years of overall experience & minimum 3 years experience working as a Technical Architect.
Demonstrated experience in the design and delivery of enterprise-level solutions
Proven experience working as a Technical Architect or similar in an enterprise environment
In-depth knowledge of IT architecture principles, methodologies and best practices
Proficient in creating comprehensive and strategic architecture plans
Strong interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and stakeholders
Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
Relevant certifications and qualifications (e.g. TOGAF, Certified Solutions Architect)
Technology experience, aligned to;

ServiceNow
Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure and Oracle)
Azure monitoring / Application insights
Azure analytics
AWS monitoring / CloudWatch
Event Management solutions (e.g. Opsview)
AIOPs
