Python Developer - Sr Analyst

• Query, clean, and shape data (SQL + Python) by writing efficient SQL and using libraries such as pandas to build analysis-ready datasets with strong data quality checks.
• Build and automate data workflows by developing Python scripts/notebooks for repeatable ingestion, transformation, validation, and scheduled reporting/analysis where applicable.
• Maintain and enhance analytics assets by refactoring code, improving performance, ensuring reproducibility (modular functions, parameterization), and applying best practices for documentation and testing.
• Partner closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify analytical needs, and ensure analyses and data outputs meet business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
• Perform data validation and diagnostics using SQL and Python to assess data integrity, identify anomalies, and ensure analytical outputs are reliable and decision-ready.
• Document code, datasets, and processes to ensure transparency, reusability, and ease of knowledge transfer (README files, notebook narratives, data dictionaries).
• Contribute to operational excellence by identifying opportunities for automation, standardization, and reusable Python components across analytics and reporting workflows.

• Advanced Python for data analysis: Proficiency with pandas, NumPy, and Jupyter; ability to write clean, efficient, reusable code for analysis and automation.
• Advanced SQL & data analysis: Strong SQL skills for querying, joins, window functions, and data validation across large multi-source datasets; comfortable integrating SQL with Python pipelines.
• Data wrangling, ETL & visualization tooling: Experience building analysis-ready datasets, integrating multiple sources, applying QA checks, and using Git for version control; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

• 3 4.5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis and automation using Python and SQL (mandatory).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build, validate, and maintain reliable datasets and reusable analysis code.
• Experience delivering executive-ready insights through clear data storytelling, concise summaries, and fit-for-purpose outputs.
