- Prepares annual plans and forecasts, consistently monitors and manages budgetary goals
- To administer and control all Laundry/Valet operations to achieve Four Seasons standards and objectives.
- To develop production schedules to meet Housekeeping and Food & Beverage Department linen requirements for Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai and Hyatt Regency Pune
- Monitor and manage a maintenance programme for all equipments developed by the engineering for the Hotel Laundry as well as the external laundry
- To participate in inventories for linen and uniform, and have hands on involvement in doing Linen discard and capital purchase procedure.
- Maintains an organized administration of departmental and personnel records, including rostering and leave planning
- Ensures employees adhere to the code of conduct and grooming & hygiene standards as specified in the employee handbook
- Conducts daily briefing and monthly departmental meeting (with minutes copied to division head) and participates in meetings when invited
- Provides regular and fair performance feedback to employees, formally and informally as appropriate
- Is seen as a hands-on leader, assists employees in crunch times; Walks the talk
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area and ensures tools & equipment are well maintained and in sufficient supply
- Promotes and ensures a safe working environment
- Performs any additional duties as assigned
- Review monthly laundry glitch recoveries and make effective corrective measures including conducting training for all employees
- To ensure Ecolab chemical training is conducted for all Laundry and Valet employees minimum two times an year
- Establish and implement energy conservation procedures. Should check washing formulas, make corrections and improvements when required
- To maintain a clean and employee friendly working environment in the Hotel as well the external laundries
