- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key clients.
- Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with decision-makers at client organizations.
- Ensure timely communication, problem resolution, and proactive updates on shipments.
- Conduct regular business review meetings with clients to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities.
- Drive revenue growth from assigned accounts through upselling additional services apart from ocean freight (customs clearance, warehousing, last-mile delivery).
- Meet or exceed account growth and retention targets.
- Track, analyse, and report account performance against agreed KPIs.
- Work closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure high service quality.
- Monitor shipment execution and resolve any service failures or bottlenecks promptly.
- Ensure compliance with clients’ SOPs, contractual agreements, and internal processes.
- Keep updated on global and regional trade trends, competitor activities, and customer supply chain strategies.
- Provide feedback to management on customer requirements, market opportunities, and potential service enhancements.
- Maintain updated client records, sales pipeline, and activity reports in CRM systems.
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly reports on client performance and growth.
- Graduate in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 4–8 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics sales or account management.
- Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and customer-centric mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
