(GOVERNMENT PROJECT EXPERIENCE IS MUST)Reporting To: Project Director/ Company DirectorSupervises: Project Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Labour, any other site staff.Employment Type: Full-TimeJob DescriptionProject Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all phases of construction projects, from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards, while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholdersKey Responsibilities- Project Planning & Scheduling- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and procurement strategies.- Draw up detailed plans for each stage of the project and set benchmarks for deliverables.- Monitor and control project budgets and schedules, ensuring adherence tofinancial and time constraints. Team Leadership & Coordination- Select, lead, and supervise project teams, including engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors.- Assign tasks, set goals, and ensure team members understand project objectives.- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.- Stakeholder Management- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.- Conduct regular meetings to facilitate communication and address project challenges.- Contract & Vendor Management- Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to reach profitable agreements.- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and change orders.Quality, Safety & Compliance- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, legal requirements, and local building codes.- Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures.- Conduct project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.- Reporting & Documentation- Prepare and submit project reports, cost forecasts, and progress updates to stakeholders.- Maintain accurate records of project activities, changes, and communications.The Project Manager may be required to visit construction sites frequently to ensure work is progressing according to plan and standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction and the overall success of construction projects.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field.- 10+ years of relevant experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations.- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, BIM).- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time management abilities.
