Job Description:Role Proficiency:Independently develops error free code with high quality validation of applications guides other developers and assists Lead 1 – Software EngineeringOutcomes: * Understand and provide input to the application/feature/component designs; developing the same in accordance with user stories/requirements.
  • Code debug test document and communicate product/component/features at development stages.
  • Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
  • Optimise efficiency cost and quality by identifying opportunities for automation/process improvements and agile delivery models
  • Mentor Developer 1 – Software Engineering and Developer 2 – Software Engineering to effectively perform in their roles
  • Identify the problem patterns and improve the technical design of the application/system
  • Proactively identify issues/defects/flaws in module/requirement implementation
  • Assists Lead 1 – Software Engineering on Technical design. Review activities and begin demonstrating Lead 1 capabilities in making technical decisions

Additional Comments:Must have 1 Servicenow Development End to End experience of ServiceNow -based application design and implementation Ability to design, develop, and manage ServiceNow applications in the IAM (Identity & Access Management) space Hands-on experience with requirement gathering, code reviews, releases, and compliance checks 2 Technical Skills & Tooling Strong experience in Agile and scrum practices and methodologies Experience in Business Rules, Catalog Scripts, UI Actions, UI Policies, Script Includes, REST APIs, and other ServiceNow scripting Experience in Angular (for Service Portal), JavaScript, API integration, and automation testing (ATF in ServiceNow) Skilled in integration with REST / SOAP API, Webservices in Servicenow 3 Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement Ability to work with product owners, project managers, and global teams to align with ServiceNow and IAM standards Experience in drive process improvements and standardization Experience in team management and providing technical support to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables Skilled in engaging with teams and acts as a technical lead POC for day-day development support Demonstrated experience documenting user case processes and BPM workflows 4 Soft Skills & Working Approach Excellent communication (written & verbal) Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
