Detailed Job Description:Oracle DBA with minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Oracle DBADatabase Administration & Management:· Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (versions 12c, 19c, 21c+)· Perform day-to-day database operations including monitoring, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and capacity planning· Implement and maintain high availability solutions (Data Guard, RAC, GoldenGate)· Ensure database security, compliance, and audit requirements are met· Experience with Oracle Multitenant architecture· Expert knowledge of Oracle Database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting· Experience with RMAN, Data Guard, RAC, ASM, and Enterprise Manager· Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing 24/7 support as neededOCI-Specific:· Hands-on experience with OCI database services (Autonomous Database, Exadata Cloud Service, Base DB Service)· Experience with database migration to OCI· Knowledge of OCI networking (VCN, subnets, security lists), IAM, and storage· Familiarity with OCI pricing and cost managementAdditional Tools:· Scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell)· Linux/Unix administration· Git or other version control systems· Knowledge of Oracle Cloud at Customer (ExaCC)· Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL)· Understanding of Kubernetes and containerized databasesCollaboration & Leadership:· Work with development teams on schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning· Collaborate with cloud architects on OCI best practices and cost optimization· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database standards, procedures, and configurations· Mentor junior DBAs and provide knowledge sharing sessionsAbout Company:Mphasis is a leading IT solutions provider, offering Applications, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Infrastructure services globally through a combination of technology knowhow, domain and process expertise.
