- Lead technology selection, standardization, and automation frameworks for Paint Shop operations.
- Drive predictive maintenance (CBM) and TPM initiatives to improve MTBF/MTTR targets.
- Develop SOPs, HIRA, and WIS to ensure compliance with TML safety standards.
- Spearhead Industry 4.0 projects (IoT, AI/ML) for process optimization.
- Oversee preventive/corrective maintenance of PLCs (Mitsubishi/Allen Bradley), VFDs, robotics (Yaskawa), and industrial networks (CC Link).
- Manage contingency plans for critical automation systems to minimize downtime.
- Optimize spare parts inventory and cost-control initiatives.
- Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) using problem-solving techniques (5Why, FMEA).
- Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and central teams for technical support and new asset installation.
- Partner with Manufacturing, SAP, and IDM teams to streamline workflows.
- Mentor teams on skill development and best practices in automation.
- External: OEMs (e.g., Mitsubishi, Siemens), service vendors, and technology partners for innovation and troubleshooting.
Experience: 8–12 years in Paint Shop automation.
Technical Skills:
- Expert in PLC programming, robotics (Yaskawa), and industrial networks.
- Proven track record in Industry 4.0/digital transformation.
- Hands-on with SAP PM, TPM, and predictive maintenance tools.
Certifications: PMP, TPM, or Six Sigma (preferred).Skills & CompetenciesFunctional:
