- Support Workday functions with a focus on HR, Time, Absence and Performance.
- Support and maintain business critical data, business processes, and security within Workday.
- Detailed understanding of HR business and technical requirements to deliver appropriate end-to-end solutions.
- Identify and support HR projects related to business process changes, data consistency, data retention, and integration.
- Assist in the execution of testing in support of Workday system updates and enhancements.
- Support management of related technical environments/tenants, including the ongoing migration of code and configuration and related validation testing of each instance.
- Translate and document non-technical requirements into technical concepts with a comprehensive understanding of HR applications and technical inter dependencies.
- Train various users of Workday.
- I should be responsible for the entire SDLC (software development life cycle) in Workday applications meaning Analysis, Development, Testing, and deployment.
- Maintain and responsible for the integrations and reports data flow to the downstream and upstream systems (AD, Dell Bhoomi, NetSuite etc.)
- Need to assist or support production issues and bugs on time.
- Responsible for all the modules in the workday includes security (Core HCM, Absence management, Talent and Performance and Compensation).
- Should Maintain the Security at the admin level and provide support.
- Determining project or enhancement requirements and developing work plans for us.
- Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
- Analyzing existing operations and scheduling mentor sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
- Should Communicate with stakeholders for the requirements and provide solutions to them.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, new versions, and developments.
- Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
- Developing the detailed design structure after understanding the requirements and the design.
- Liaising with team members, management, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed to standard.
- Implementing the best practices and application standards of the project and client needs.
- Reporting for all the weekly and daily tasks in the form of accurate and detailed reports and through meetings.
- To keep a check on the whole system, conduct the testing and integration testing for the entire system.
- Working on identifying the project risk and planning mitigation action with the Manager and clients at project level.
- Should be proactive while reacting to the surprises and should have written explanation for the same.
- Technical competencies
- At least 4-8 years of Workday experience highly preferred with a strong background and understanding of Workday configuration and integrations. Experience with creating calculated fields and composite reporting is a plus.
- Functional 70 % + 30 % Technical (basic knowledge in integration)
- Must assist and guide the Project Lead/BA or Manager in project coordination.
- Must have experience with Core HCM- P1, ( Compensation / Absence management)-P2, Talent, and.
- Experience with Advanced Compensation and Succession Planning modules is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex projects from inception to implementation accurately and on schedule.
- Experience applying security and privacy policy configurations within key business systems.
- Experience with staffing models and Job architecture is a plus.
- Expertise in the Absence module to support and enhance the absence management process.
- Experience with Workday Integrations EIB inbound and Outbound and CCW and Payroll systems.
- Expertise in configuration of alert systems, schedules, and event modifications.
- Experience with configuration of dashboards and worklets.
- Demonstrated experience working in complex cross-functional projects that span multiple global teams.
- Demonstrated experience performing business technical analysis and developing delivery requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and convey ideas and solutions for complex business problems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with developing technical requirements and integrated solutions for cloud-based applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite and JIRA is a plus.
