What you'll be doing:

Set Up and Monitor EDI Transactions: Establish new EDI transactions for customers and ensure smooth operations with trading partners.
Troubleshoot EDI Issues: Investigate and resolve recurring EDI issues, providing long-term solutions.
Mapping and Documentation: Understand and work with existing EDI maps, create new mappings, and maintain thorough documentation.
Testing and Debugging: Perform testing and debugging to ensure system reliability.
Implementation & Onboarding: Support the implementation and onboarding of new partners into the EDI system.
Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively as a team player while also being capable of working independently, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Research and Problem-Solving: Utilize knowledge bases and enhanced troubleshooting skills to resolve inquiries and issues, recreating problems in test environments if necessary.
Protocol Management: Manage and understand various file transfer protocols, including FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and AS2.

What you likely bring:

EDI Standards and Transaction Flow: Proficient in EDI standards like ANSI, X12, EDIFACT, and familiar with EDI transaction flow and structure, including key documents (810, 820, 850, etc.).
File Transfer Protocols: Strong knowledge of FTP, FTPS, SFTP, and AS2 protocols.
Mapping and ERP Integration: Skilled in reading, understanding, and creating EDI maps, with knowledge of ERP integration.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical abilities to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve EDI-related issues.
Testing and Debugging: Expertise in testing and debugging EDI systems for reliability and performance.
Documentation: Proficient in creating comprehensive documentation for internal and client use.
Communication and Teamwork: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

What could set you apart:

4+ years of experience in EDI mapping and support
Experience / working knowledge on MySQL/MSSQL will be value added for the profile.
