Your objectives would involve :
  • Actively contributing to design and development of the Enterprise Data Product Catalog - the “Amazon” experience for Data Assets in UBS
  • Collaborating with very motivated and talented set of Full Stack and Front-End developers in a fast-paced environment to deliver a responsive web-based application
  • Suggesting improvements to UX designs to meet end user needs and provide a consistent UBS look and feel. • Connecting with Subject Matter Experts of Data Mesh to understand the business requirements

You will be joining a team that are helping to scale, build and leverage data products in the firm. The team partners with different divisions and functions across the Bank to develop innovative digital solutions and expand our technical expertise into new areas. You will be joining a growing team and you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish its footprint in the organization.Your expertise
  • Ideally 12+ years of work experience in developing highly responsive web-based applications using ReactJS
  • Strong Understanding of different UI Design patterns & paradigms (components, flows, error handling) for complex React applications
  • Develop component library
  • Performance benchmarking
  • Ability to understand API contracts and negotiate with backend team for optimized UI responses
  • Good understanding of security implementations: Authentication, Authorization, JWT
  • Ability to contribute to UI product evolution/roadmap
  • Guide UX designers to arrive at presentable prototypes
  • Experience taking high level UI prototypes/requirements and converting them to concrete implementation by following industry wide design patterns.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs based on contracts and mock data
  • Strong grasp of JavaScript fundamentals and type script.
  • Expert with Tailwind CSS for writing custom CSS
  • Exposure to GIT & CI/CD concepts.
  • Experience working in Agile teams.
  • Basic Understanding of containerized application development and deployment.
  • Experience with Jest for unit test case development
  • Desirable Experience:
  • Exposure to Azure services like - Azure functions , AKS, Azure Key Vault.
  • Understanding of containerized application development and deployment
  • Experience with Svelte UI framework
