Job Description SDET - Python (1-3 yrs) About Nference: At nFerence Labs, the Google of Biomedicine (See nference.ai/media ), where we are building the world's first large-scale computational platform for reverse engineering biology. Just as 20th-century science comprised of the deconstruction of physics unlocking all the engineering and tech applications we are so familiar with, this century is witnessing the deconstruction or reverse engineering of biological systems to unlock all kinds of medical and wellness applications. nFerence is one of the few companies with the data, funding, people, and tech to make significant initial forays into this 21st-century endeavor. Our platform is premised on using AI and high-performance computing to connect clinical observations (phenotypes) to DNA-level phenomena (genotypes); in the process helps unravel biology, as well as help pharma companies, perform faster and more efficient drug discovery, and help early diagnosis of several key diseases. About the role: We are looking for a highly enthusiastic SDET who can help us implement our test strategy and automation solutions, while also contributing to software design and development for a seamless user experience. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish a strong quality engineering practice and to grow your skills as a SDET. As a SDET, you will work closely with our team to develop and deliver automated testing solutions. You will also collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to incorporate quality practices and ensure the delivery of high-quality products. About you: A+ character: We are a team of people first. Strong programming skills in Python/JavaScript Experience with UI & Backend automation testing frameworks such as Pytest/Jest, Robot Framework, and Selenium/Playwright. Experience with Linux environments & shell scripting. Experience in working with database verifications, writing SQL queries. Experience in Load Testing of applications. Team player eager to learn and drive excellence Excellent troubleshooting and debugging knowledge. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
