The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology leadership, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple products and teams.Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to our engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive the development and execution of our technology roadmap, aligning it with our business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership to define and implement the overall engineering strategy and vision.
  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance microservices and high-transaction systems.
  • Leverage your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, to optimize our infrastructure and ensure seamless scalability and reliability.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, prioritize feature development, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Engage with large enterprise customers in a B2B environment, leveraging your experience to address their unique requirements and deliver value-added solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and apply them to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 18+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading multiple product development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in microservices architecture and designing high-transaction systems.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including infrastructure setup, optimization, and scalability.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience working with large enterprise customers in a B2B environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical initiatives with organizational goals and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver results.
