- Provide strategic leadership and direction to our engineering department, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the development and execution of our technology roadmap, aligning it with our business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to define and implement the overall engineering strategy and vision.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance microservices and high-transaction systems.
- Leverage your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, to optimize our infrastructure and ensure seamless scalability and reliability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, prioritize feature development, and deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Engage with large enterprise customers in a B2B environment, leveraging your experience to address their unique requirements and deliver value-added solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, and apply them to drive innovation and maintain our competitive edge.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 18+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience leading multiple product development teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in microservices architecture and designing high-transaction systems.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, including infrastructure setup, optimization, and scalability.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience working with large enterprise customers in a B2B environment is highly desirable.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to align technical initiatives with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, solve complex technical challenges, and deliver results.
