Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.The work model for the role is: #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to the Drives & Automation and will be part of Process Automation Business
Area for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, IndiaYour responsibilitiesReviewing of drive system package for LV or MV air cooled or liquid cooled type drive systemsTroubleshooting LV drive faults using drive debug, monitoring files, data logger and fault loggersEstablishing effective communication with customer, suppliers and all other departments including global offices: project management, estimating, process, mechanical and electrical design etc.Attending customer meetings as required Reviewing of project engineering documents, single line, topology diagrams interconnection drawings, cable schedules, commissioning and site acceptance proceduresParticipating in procurement of electrical equipment, including preparation or reviewing of specifications, requisitions, carrying out technical bid evaluations, monitoring the progress of drawings, documents and purchase specifications Reviewing approved vendor list from the customer as per RFQ and decide on global sourcing plans for all equipment like LV switchboard, VFD switchboards and control system etcYour backgroundB E or B Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in Engineering Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (LD & Hubs)Exposure in drives engineering, ABB drives knowledge and drive automationMore about usABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
