Job RequirementsEmbedded System Testing (RTPE and PIS)Location: BengaluruOur customer is seeking a Engineer – System Testing (RTPE and PIS) to join their software team to perform unit testing, functional testing, overall testing and test documentation for TPWS, PIS products.Roles & Responsibilities:

Hands-on experience in test case development, debugging and Software build / executable generation.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Develop test cases and setup HIL test environment for the real time embedded systems.
Perform unit testing, functional testing, overall testing and involve in Structural report and Test Case results report generations.
Write Test cases following PSP/SRS and prepare related test documents
Work in Test Benches for execution of Test cases, validation of the test case and preparing test reports.
Work in highly agile execution methodology
Collaborate with cross teams, other developers, project managers, system integrators, test engineers and customers.
Participate / Support Design verification / validation in end customer sites in India & Abroad
Promote and apply industry best practices in embedded system testing
Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Participate as a presenter / reviewer in technical and program reviews.

Work ExperienceQualification / Requirement:

Bachelor / Masters in Engineering in Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in embedded real-time system validation

Desired Skills:Strong technical aptitude, and expertise in applicable engineering tools and systemsProven history in delivering high quality embedded software products utilizing the best practices of testing the system.Experience and understanding of Python and embedded Linux operating environment will be an added advantage.Experience in working with real Test Benches, HIL.Experience and understanding of different protocols, Ethernet, CAN, Profinet Bus, SPI, I2C.Experience in all phases of the product engineering/development cycleWilling to work physically near the Test Benches at various site of customer.Experience in Test AutomationExposure to Agile methodology of software development is an added advantage.Effective oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsGood to have:Equipped with advanced debugging skills using tools like JTAG, USB, analyzersExperience in Compilers, Linkers, Debuggers for both Linux and MicrocontrollersUnderstanding of the IEC62443 standardsExperience with C language and C library creation and debugging and executable files creation.
