Job Description:Job DescriptionResponsibilities:Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure adherence to quality standards.Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks and tools to enable early detection of defects and quality issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and help define acceptance criteria for thorough test coverage.Perform root cause analysis of defects, working closely with developers to provide detailed insights and support resolution.Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, and actively contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and technical excellence initiatives.Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers—guiding professional growth, allocating work, and managing team resources effectively.Collaborate with development teams throughout the SDLC to ensure testability, quality, and robust delivery.Implement clear reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into test results, defect trends, and quality metrics.Continuously identify opportunities for test optimization, efficiency improvements, and automation scalability.Mentor junior engineers on automation frameworks, best practices, and modern testing methodologies.Technical Skillset (Must-Have):Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript with Playwright.Proven experience in VSTO to Office.js migration projects.Ability to design and implement web automation frameworks for Office.js Web Add-ins.Experience in building and maintaining API test suites using RestAssured for backend validation.Hands-on experience creating scalable, maintainable, and efficient automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO).Strong knowledge of Office.js and Azure Graph APIs.Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and React.Understanding of SharePoint libraries, metadata, permissions, and Graph API mapping.Core Skills:Test AutomationFunctional TestingJavaScript / TypeScriptSkills:Test Automation,Functional Testing,Javascript,TypescriptAbout Company:UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider.
