Together, we enable our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.DepartmentYou will be part of Global PerformanceIQ Hub in an exciting journey with data and working very closely with a pool of mining customers, FLS product specialists, SMEs, digital solution development and product life cycle support groups.RoleIn this job role, you will be responsible for secured connectivity of plants/assets to FLSmidth IoT platform, organise the assets, ensure consistent data collection and then, configure digital solutions and deploy to customers. The activities will cover a range of digital solutions deployment like Asset insights, Asset health and Asset optimization which will in turn help improve customers productivity, increase mineral recovery, and reduce power consumption for our mining customers.Your responsibilitiesConnecting/onboarding of plants/machines/assets securely to FLSmidth IoT / Cloud platform and ensure consistent data collection with highest level of quality.Identification of Asset information, its related data points and creating Asset framework in the IoT Platform.Configure digital solutions like Asset insights, Asset health (condition monitoring system) incl. predictive models using AI/ML models and deploy to customers.Resource (infrastructure & network) audit, security evaluation and planning of technical & infrastructure for the site before connectivity.Smooth onboarding of sites inclusive of customer handling, timely response to issues (Tickets / Incident management) with highest quality and proper resolution in a short time.Configuring and maintaining firewalls, edge devices as required.Diagnose and troubleshoot edge & cloud components and related issues.Manage the asset hierarchy & data model based on Change request.Manage Digital platform configuration & change control, Advance the existing tools & processes and collaborate with stakeholders.Communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders.Willingness to work across different time zones and provide response to customer as per agreed SLA.What you bringWorking proficiency in any one of the data analytical/visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, SeeQ, ThoughtSpot, etc.,Advanced knowledge about DCS/PLC and edge solutions incl. OT networking with industry know-how.Hands on experience in Industrial protocols like MODBUS, OPC UA/DA, etc., and knowledge with OT network / Industrial Plant or Process Control Systems.Basic Knowledge in Python, Azure IoT Components, Linux (preferably UBUNTU) and SQL.Added advantage to have exposure to industrial applications like MES, Plant historian, MIS, SCADA systems, etc.,Added advantage to have prior Industry/process knowledge of Mining.Able to travel up to 30-45 days in a year.Education QualificationBachelor/Master’s Engineering degree specialized in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science, IT, or MechatronicsExperience6 - 10 years of experience.
