We build unique technology to handle petabytes of data and conduct billions of secure transactions dailyPartner with the bestAs part of Bot Manager Engineering team, you will focus on building highly usable, reliable, scalable solutions. These solutions are for bot threat detection, protection and control feature. We allow our customers to better manage bot traffic, help improve the internet for millions of people.As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

Working on projects that improve our bot detection products making Akamai a leader in bot detection.
Implementing new features from scratch.
Enhancing existing features and optimize existing functionality, from conception and design through testing and deployment.
Working with our level 3 support to troubleshooting complex problems or any customer issues.
Working on data analysis for web and mobile platforms.

Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:

Have 2 to 4 years of overall SW development experience and relevant degree in Computer Science.
Have 1+ years of experience with web API development.
Have a good understanding of data formats such as JSON, XML
Work experience or understanding with Machine learning or Data science is good.
Be able to design with best possible architectures and write clean well-structured code
Able to manage and prioritize own workload effectively
