  • Expert Knowledge of Income Tax laws
  • Provide strategic advice on complex taxation matters
Trusts & Estate Structuring
  • Set up and manage private family trusts, charitable trusts, and offshore structures
  • Draft trust deeds in collaboration with legal advisors
  • Advise on revocable vs irrevocable trusts, roles of settlors, trustees, and beneficiaries
  • Maintain compliance and reporting for trusts under Income Tax, FEMA, and FCRA
Succession & Estate Planning
  • Work with legal teams to draft Wills, family constitutions, shareholding arrangements, and succession blueprints
  • Support in execution of inheritance plans, asset transfers, and business continuity strategies
  • Assist in defining family governance frameworks, roles, and dispute resolution mechanisms
Family Settlements & Dispute Advisory
  • Structure and mediate family settlements involving ownership, control, and asset division
  • Analyze and advise on implications of family arrangements (tax, compliance, asset holding)
  • Provide financial advisory in inter-family negotiations, realignments, or demergers
Draft and negotiate legal documents including:
o Shareholder & Subscription Agreements (SHA/SSA)
o M&A documentation (SPA, JV agreements, SLAs)
o Family Constitutions, Wills, Trust Deeds, Gift Deeds
o Commercial contracts & NDAsSupport and lead legal due diligence for:
o Business acquisitions and divestments
o Private equity and venture capital investments
o Strategic family business realignmentsAssist in corporate structuring and entity setup:
o SPVs, LLPs, family trusts, holding companies
o Regulatory compliance under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBIAdvise on succession planning and governance:
o Design and execute legal frameworks for inter-generational wealth transfer
o Draft legal documents to implement family charters and council mechanisms
