Job Description Overview of the role: We are expanding our data capability across the organization and need experienced quality engineer to help deliver the new quality and processes across the tribe, while supporting the deliver of the Data and Analytics tribe. We are looking for an Automation Engineer in Test to join our Data & Analytics tribe. You will help test and develop Integration layer changes to the data and analytics team. Reporting directly to the Test Manager and working within the data tribe, you will be responsible for ensuring that the stories are delivered in a quality manner. You will be building a quality product within the Data & Analytics tribe. You will be joining at a time of significant change for the Data & Analytics tribe, we need excellent QA engineers within the team to ensure we deliver the team's, and the organisation's ambitions. Why we need you As an Automation Engineer, you will join one of our small agile teams, consisting of SEIT, DevOps Engineers and Data Engineers. You'll be working closely with the engineers in the team designing, building and maintaining our data and reporting, using industry-leading technologies. What you'll do: Automation first approach to testing Quality champion within your squad Continuously improve testing through participation in the Test Community of Practice Ensuring security and regulatory responsibilities are adhered to Test monitoring & maintenance What you'll bring: We're looking for an expert, pragmatic and collaborative Automation Engineer to join our team on the mission to build the best online sports betting product in the world. Your experience: Comprehensive test analysis skills 3-6 years of shown experience in functional and automation testing In-depth experience in developing and maintaining automated tests Agile ways of working Your behaviors: Pragmatic with a strong understanding of effort versus business value Collaborative teammate Problem solver with an aim to understand what's under the hood.
