The Director of Engineering plans and directs all aspects of engineering activities within the organization and manages a team of managers, engineers and quality analysts. This leader will also work with stake holders from Product, Architecture and Engineering leaders in US & Israel, and ensure all engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives.This position will hire, lead and manage a group of software engineers that designs, develops, releases, maintains, troubleshoots, and debugs software applications. This position will provide leadership through coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance management.Pre-screening:

Technology: Experience of developing and deploying scalable, high performing cloud based products
Strategic thinking: You are positioning engineering teams to raise the bar year over year with specific measurable KPIs.
Build winning teams: Always looking to upskill current team members and improve outcomes on a regular basis.
Customer focus: Build a deep understanding of the market, customer and usage of our products to supersize value for our customers.
Strong Execution: Deliver to the product and technical roadmap. Able to influence, guide, champion and adopt technologies that will make the products scalable, resilient and high performing product. Be detail oriented and actively drive the architeture and design in collaboration with the team.
People: Mentor & grow Engineering Managers, Technical Managers and other team members. Manage hiring, reviews, mentoring, promotions, among other managerial duties. Build a strong performance oriented culture.

Skills And Experience Required

20+ years of experience in Software Engineering with Product Development mindset
At least 8 years of experience in managing multiple teams of software developers and 4 years of experience of managing through managers.
Proven track record of managing the development of enterprise-grade software products that can perform, scale, and integrate into a broad enterprise ecosystem
Experience working in a global product software company for enterprise customers (Fortune 100 companies)
Experience in product development using Java or .Net technologies
Experience in building and deploying high performant graph-based applications in production environments
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with AI/ML technologies. GenAI experience is a plus.
Experience developing and supporting hosted and/or multi-tenant software delivered as-a-Service (SaaS)
Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
Deep experience with Agile/SCRUM/SAFe software development methodologies
Excellent People Management skills

Education Qualification:B.E/B.Tech or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
