Project descriptionAutomated Trade Surveillance (ATS) is a filterable list of alerts (Insider Trading, Unusual Trade Volume etc) which when compared against benchmarks with parametrised thresholds generate notifications for business users to detect anomalies relating to internal trades across multiple asset classes. You will also help develop and maintain a machine learning module using natural language processing in python that monitors emails and messages.Responsibilities

- q/KDB development: analyse trade/order data and develop analytics based on specifications from business users - project management: agile development and familiarity with jira, bi-monthly staging/production deployment, linux server management Career Development We will provide you with hands on training that prepares you for a job as a Financial Technical Analyst or Quant with exposure to:
Vectorized & functional programming
Database design and optimization
Managing a cloud installation
Statistical analysis of big data specifically financial trade and exchange data across asset classes
Exposure to machine learning particularly natural language processing (NLP)
Integration of q/kdb and python for time series analysis

SKILLSMust have

0 - 1 year of working experience
expertise with any of the following languages - c++/java/python/R
knowledge of sql in either of oracle/mysql/sqlserver
familiarity with scripting in linux/bash or windows/powershell
ability and eagerness to independently learn

Nice to have

exposure to machine learning • background in analysis of large datasets preferably financial datasets
