[HIDDEN TEXT] Key responsibilities Design, re-engineer, implement, manage, and develop monitoring tools, such as Logicmonitor, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Azure Monitor, Nectus, PRTG, etc. that will be used to support business decisions for monitoring systems availability, performance, and capacity. Setup and utilize monitoring tools to discover and monitor large customer networks for potential problems. Problems could include network performance, power, malware intrusion, server faults, bandwidth capacity, storage capacity, server disk utilization, middleware, application performance, as well as memory and processor utilization. Monitor the performance and capacity of customer network. ensure the monitoring systems operate efficiently and are kept at the most current stable version/release using vendor-supplied updates and patches. Role requirements Bachelor's degree in technology field A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience required. Certification in industry standard monitoring platform. Integration familiarity of monitoring platforms to ServiceNow Network Management Platforms. Systems Management Products. WMI, SNMP, NetFlow, etc. protocols and MIB management. Custom VB and PowerShell script creation and management. Experience with incorporating 3rd party tools and notifications (Wireshark, Foglight, etc.) into event management methodology. Custom report generation.
