- Utilizing the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to configure various monitor modules (e.g., 3500/40M, 3500/42M) for different measurement types (vibration, position, etc.) and alarm setpoints.
- Monitoring machine parameters (vibration, temperature, speed, etc.) and ensuring the system is functioning correctly.
- Identifying and resolving issues related to the 3500 system, including communication problems, faulty modules, or incorrect configuration settings.
- Setting up and managing alarm logic for various channels and ensuring proper relay outputs are triggered based on predefined conditions.
- Configuring communication gateways (e.g., TDI, RIM) to interface with other systems (e.g., DCS, PLC) for data transfer and control.
- Maintaining accurate records of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
- In-depth knowledge of the 3500 system architecture, components, and functionality.
- Proficiency in using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software for system setup and configuration.
- Understanding of vibration analysis, proximity probes, and other relevant sensor technologies.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to the 3500 system and its components.
- Ability to effectively communicate with other team members, engineers, and plant personnel.
- Ability to document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.
