- Responsible for owning a software component.
- Self-motivated individual shall complete the assigned task with minimal support.
- Supports to implement strategic goals and establish operational plans for job area.
- Assignments are often self – initiated.
- Actively participate in design discussion and provide input to positively influences the design of new products, processes, standards, or operational plans.
- Interacts with internal and external customers and vendors at various level including executive leadership.
- Functions well in a Virtual team environment and be a role model for all engineers.
- Generates high-quality work products.
- Thinks out of the box to come-up with ideas to improvements in the areas of work.
- Reports to the Engineering Manager.
- Closely collaborates with technical lead, quality and cross functional teams.
- Proactively update the progress, challenges to ensure project milestone are delivered on-time with highest quality.
- Possible interaction with GBU technical leaders, domain experts.
- Extensive experience developing C++ Applications
- Strong Programming experience in C++, Python, QT
- Strong design and development experience ANSI C and C++ and IDEs
- Candidate should be knowledgeable and have experience in software engineering processes and software life-cycle in general.
- Object-Oriented Design and Implementation, is required.
- Good understanding of multithreading in both, design and implementation
- Expertise in developing tools for device validation
- Experience with projects that require hardware /software interfacing
- Experience working on other OS Linux, VxWorks a plus..
- Medical instruments development experiences a plus
- Experience with a documented software development processes or familiarity with FDA and ISO standards like IEC 62304 is a plus
- Good to have: .Net. C#, Winforms, Python
- Good communication skills
- Good team player
- 5 to 7 years embedded software engineering experience
- Required: - B.E. or B-Tech in Computer Sciences.
- Preferred: - M.E. or M-Tech in Computer Sciences, Electronics or Electrical Engineer.
