You'll be part of a supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drive outcomes.What role will you play?In this role, you will be responsible for managing delivery processes, talent, and team dynamics, enabling you to fully engage with the business your team supports. You will work with your team on monthly BS and PL analysis, month-end close, financial, regulatory and tax reporting submissions. Leveraging your expertise in IFRS-based financial reporting, you will translate commercial business transactions into correct accounting treatments and report on new transactions, deals, products, entities, acquisitions, or restructures. You will also drive project delivery and efficiency-enhancing initiatives, ensuring your team adheres to timelines and work plans while maintaining high-quality deliverables.What you offer
  • Postgraduate accounting qualification, such as CA or CPA.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Deep understanding of reporting requirements under IFRS, particularly standards that are relevant to the banking industry.
  • Prior experience in a banking, financial services, public accounting, or stock broking firm.
  • Prior experience of leading high-performing teams and projects, and demonstrating a continuous focus on improving processes to deliver efficiencies with appropriate risk management practices and controls.
