The work would be at FreeElective Network's office in the heart of Chennai, a few miles from the IIT-Madras campus.The position represents a terrific opportunity to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, especially for someone who wants to create an impact in a marketing role. Devise effective go-to-market strategies and assist in the refinement of the overall marketing plan to meet the company's business objectives
Develop segment-specific marketing communications based on company goals, brand, and market initiatives
Work closely with user support, product management, marketing teammates to create and oversee search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social media marketing (SMM) campaigns
Monitor results of all programs and analyze performance, using a variety of analytical tools, to maximize returns from marketing
Assist management team in ensuring efficient progress of workflow and transforming business visions into reality

QUALIFICATIONS:REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated aptitude for marketing, analytics, communications, public relations, or related fields
Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
Possess a balance of creative passion, disciplined strategic thinking, an analytical mindset, and a willingness to be hands-on
Excellent knowledge of office productivity software (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets) and relevant digital marketing tools

PREFERENCES:

Proven experience as a T-shaped marketer, with a strong foundation in marketing and expertise in one particular area, such as SEO, SEM, SMM, content marketing, or PR.
Demonstrated record of success in marketing roles requiring planning and budgeting, resource allocation, decision making, and execution
Working knowledge of ad serving tools
Bachelor's or higher degree in marketing, economics, business, sociology, psychology, mathematics, physics, or engineering

DESIRED SOFT SKILLS:

Team player with strong analytical and project management skills
Organized and detail-oriented individual who works well with deadlines
Willingness to learn, switch roles as necessary, and to roll up one's sleeves to get a job done
Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-changing environment
