The project involves the implementation of Workday and its integration with SAP using SHAPEiN. A Center of Excellence (CoE) is being established in India to manage SHAPEiN’s integration work and oversee cloud-based payroll and time management solutions. This role will be part of the HRTP Program, working closely with SHAPEiN (a German Workday integration specialist), with a strong focus on SAP ABAP & HCM solutions and system integration.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical and business process expertise in SAP ABAP & HCM to support operations, ongoing projects, and integrations.Analyze and resolve application issues through testing, investigations, and root cause analysis.Enhance existing applications and support integration with third-party tools.Develop and review functional specifications, technical documentation, wireframes, and workflows.Work on system integration (SAP with Workday/SuccessFactors, CPI, JD Edwards, etc.) ensuring smooth reconciliation of processes.Deliver technical training, knowledge transfer, and onboarding support to new employees.Collaborate with IS Service Managers and Business Process Specialists to estimate, scope, and deliver system enhancements, change requests, and post go-live support.Contribute to the design, build, and implementation of structured and efficient IT applications aligned with business requirements.Support installation, maintenance, and optimization of cross-functional IS processes.Manage stakeholder relationships, ensure clear communication, gather feedback, and drive customer satisfaction.RequirementsQualifications & BackgroundEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, HR, or a related discipline.Experience:5–8 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP-HR with strong functional knowledge of HCM (PA/OM/Time/Payroll).Minimum 8+ years overall ERP experience in consulting across industries.Hands-on experience in system integrations (SuccessFactors, CPI, JD Edwards, or equivalent).Technical Skills:Expertise in ABAP Workbench tools, RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).Strong debugging skills, ALV reporting, BAPIs, BDC scripts.Knowledge of SAP Script, Smart Forms, and ABAP/4 Workbench tools.Familiarity with integration technologies (Web Services, XML, SOAMANAGER, OData).Certifications: SAP HCM or SAP ABAP certification required.Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.Expected Skills & ProficiencySuccessFactors: AdvancedSAP HCM: ConfirmedSAP ABAP: ConfirmedLanguages: English (Fluent)
