In this role you will be reporting to Principal Project Engineer and will be responsible for designing authority for an engineering discipline with low to medium complexity and completing assignments on small to medium service projects or portions of larger service projects, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.Your responsibilities

Evaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments in projects. Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables. Handling testing, installation and commissioning activities
Assisting in preparing proposals/presentations for service engineering projects or programs (provision of bills of materials, estimated engineering hours, etc.)
Identifying customer (internal or external) requirements, analyze and document as is process and process interfaces, discover gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources
Creating work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within targeted cost
Completing risk and opportunity assessments and ensuring implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility
Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities

Your background

Bachelor’s degree in instrumentation / electronics and communication / electrical and electronics engineering
Require 6 to 8 years of hands-on process / safety system experience predominantly in application engineering, HMI engineering, 3rd party communication, FAT and SAT for process automation in any of the domains like oil and gas / refineries / petrochemicals. Should also have experience in hardware
Experience in ABB systems like 800xA, MOD 300, SG400, Advant, AC800M, Harmony, In-fi90, melody, process portal B, symphony plus will be an added advantage
Working knowledge on interfaces (Profibus, Modbus, OPC, IEC61850, etc.)
Knowledge on ESXi virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, etc., is good to have
Good knowledge on process / ICSS and safety systems (fire and gas protection systems / emergency shutdown systems)
