Fabricator (Also known as Structural Fabricator, Metal Fabricator, or Steel Fabricator)🏭 Department:Production / Fabrication / Maintenance / Engineering🎯 Job Purpose:To cut, shape, assemble, and weld metal components based on engineering drawings and fabrication plans to produce structural frameworks, machinery parts, or custom metal products in accordance with safety and quality standards.🔧 Key Responsibilities:Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructionsCut, drill, bend, and weld metal components as per specificationsAssemble structural components using hand and power toolsOperate fabrication machines such as grinders, shears, cutting torches, and press brakesInspect fabricated parts for accuracy using measuring tools (e.g., tape, vernier caliper, square)Perform grinding, finishing, or polishing of welded componentsMaintain a clean and safe workspace and follow all safety regulationsCollaborate with welders, fitters, and supervisors to complete fabrication jobs efficientlyReport material shortages, equipment issues, or design inconsistenciesAssist in installation or on-site assembly, if required🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications:Education:ITI in Fabrication / Fitter / Welding / Sheet MetalOR Diploma in Mechanical / Fabrication EngineeringSkills:Proficient in cutting, welding (MIG/TIG/Arc), and assembling metal partsAbility to read fabrication drawings and interpret measurementsFamiliar with fabrication tools and machinesBasic understanding of metallurgy and materialsGood physical stamina and attention to detail🛠️ Tools & Equipment Knowledge:Cutting torches, welding machinesAngle grinders, drill pressesSheet metal toolsHydraulic press, bending machines⚠️ Work Conditions:Workshop, factory, or construction site environmentMay require standing for long hours, lifting heavy materials, or working at heightsMandatory use of PPE (helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles)💼 Job Type:Full-time / ContractDay or shift-based depending on companyJOB APPLYhttp://jobs.vinayakjob.com/CONTACT DETAILS - Name - MANISHA Number - +91 91099 93513
