You will be responsible for guiding students through the admission process, providing information about our programs and offerings, and offering support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition into our university.Responsibilities:1. Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, providing information on admission requirements, programs, and campus life.
2. Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to help students identify their academic and career goals.
3. Assist students in preparing application materials, including essays, resumes, and letters of recommendation.
4. Coordinate and conduct campus tours, information sessions, and other recruitment events to promote the university and its programs.
5. Maintain accurate records of interactions with prospective students and provide regular updates to the admissions team.
6. Collaborate with academic departments and support services to ensure a seamless transition for admitted students.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, university policies, and best practices in admissions counselling.Qualifications:1. A bachelor's degree in psychology, education, counseling, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
2. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
3. Knowledge of college admissions processes, financial aid, and academic advising.
4. Previous experience in admissions counselling, student recruitment, or related field is a plus.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
