- Deploy and configure Oracle APEX and Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers.
- Perform Linux system administration tasks, including installation, patching, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Utilize and manage RHEL command-line tools effectively for day-to-day system operations and troubleshooting.
- Review business requirements, design technical solutions, and document ER diagrams, system workflows, and implementation details.
- Coordinate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure smooth testing, delivery, and deployment of applications.
- Maintain service levels aligned with KPIs, contributing to the continuous improvement of IT services.
- Provide development and production support across diverse IT systems and contribute to ongoing technology initiatives.
- Participate in evaluating and enhancing the service management framework.
- Proven experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including:
- System installation and configuration
- Memory and performance management
- Strong proficiency with command-line (CLI) operations
- Solid experience in:
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Linux shell scripting
- Experience in deploying and supporting Oracle APEX and ORDS
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ITIL practices
- Ability to manage tasks independently across both development and support environments
- Familiarity with enterprise IT ecosystems and application environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Red Hat certifications (e.g., RHCSA, RHCE)
- Oracle APEX certification
- Familiarity with Tomcat, WebLogic, or other application servers
- Experience with DevOps tools and automation frameworks
- Exposure to international and multi-location work environments
