- Design and implement Linux-based systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux servers and Red Hat Satellite
- Develop and implement patch management practice and governance for Red Hat servers
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate system administration tasks
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Implement security measures to protect the system from cyber attacks
- Provide escalated support for Linux-related issue and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system availability and stability
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures to be used by operations staff
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or 4+ years of experience in System Administration
- 4+ years of experience in Red Hat Linux administration
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system internals and system administration
- Proficient with managing Red Hat Satellite for patch management and system configuration
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
- Knowledge of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and LDAP
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
- Familiarity with basic VMware Vcenter tasks such as building and modifying VMs
- Experience with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and OCI
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with KVM Virtualization a plus
- RHCA or RHCE a plus
- Experience with CUPS print protocol
- Experience using Kubernetes is a plus
