  • Define and execute the optimization strategy to improve quality, performance and reduce operational cost of lower environments
  • Review code and design on various aspects like modularity, extensibility, scalability, security etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed
  • Provide high level estimates, create delivery plan, execution and status updates to stakeholders
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
  • Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level
  • Work in complex business environment consisting of cross functional teams, with Development teams, release management, Infra group and various stakeholder across the businesses
  • Manage span of directly & indirectly reports and responsible for their performance management
  • Safeguard the stability of mission-critical application/functions
  • Be able to Drive innovation and efficiency agenda across all Interfacing applications within RxClaim
  • Hiring talent, retain your top talent and mentor them to grow as technical leaders
  • Coach span of directly & indirectly reports and provide inputs for their performance management
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
  • Engineering Graduate / Master's degree in IT and Computer
  • 12+ years of Software Engineering experience
  • 5+ experience on iSeries technology with COBOL, RPG / SYNON experience
  • Proven to have worked on different systems within legacy and latest modern (Java) technology with special focus on APIs
  • Proven solid exposure to Software engineering core concepts, DevOps , environment management
  • Proven expertise working with external customer/clients and managing expectations
  • Proven to managed complex project implementation including integration with multiple systems
  • Proven exceptional communication and stakeholder management
  • Proven solid analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global team with a positive team spirit
  • Proven ability to work with multiple engineering teams without authority
  • Proven ability to spearhead the group's modernization and decommission agenda of complex and strategic systems
  • Proven ability to provide effective oversight, align modernization efforts with wider organizational objectives, and provide mentorship to teams
