This position will be responsible for ensuring the controls around the inventory at the Contract Manufacturing Units in North India. This includes adherence to the SOX controls and the IFC controls for India. This also includes regular inventory audits at sites and analysis of the inventory. This position will work towards creating a system of efficient inventory management & Controls at the CM sites through developing procedures, work instructions as per Herbalife standards. The incumbent will create a mechanism to analyze the stock, will work towards keeping the system clean ensuring the correct representation of inventory in the system. The position requirement is to develop and implement new inventory controls as per requirement in collaboration with Finance and controllership team along with other cross functional teams depending upon business requirements. Ensures all the procedures pertaining to Inventory are strictly followed at the sites. Preparing schedules for the cycle counts at the sites along with the Inventory Team and the Finance team Execute all the Physical Inventory counts that includes (Cycle Count, Quarterly PI Counts and the other necessary counts) along with Finance team. Working closely with the Finance team and implement new controls as per the requirement Ensuring the stock is reconciled in Herbalife and CM books as per decided frequency and minimal variance in quarterly PI counts. Putting necessary existing controls in place, in use around inventory management through creating processes and procedures along with Finance Ensuring the Internal financial controls are adhered and compliant as per Company requirements and putting up a review mechanism. Ensuring Data Analysis around Inventory Management and representation to the management for showcasing effective controls. Ensuring the necessary system in place in order to ensure the consumption of the near expiry materials at sites. Ensuring the information is shared with all the stakeholders for the obsolete and slow-moving inventory as a part of MIS and support with decision on inventory procurement. Coordination with finance team for creating reserves based on given plan and inventory, proactively planning for depleting excess stock in coordination with Core manufacturing team and communication with the relevant groups. Creating procedures to manage the inventory effectively and putting controls in place Other tasks as assigned by the business. Education : Graduation/MBA - Inventory Management/Supply Chain Management/Operations management. Skills : Leadership and People Management. Verbal and written communication skills. Data analysis & Problem solving Interpersonal ability. Attention to detail and result oriented. Proactive action taking and critical thinking. Good knowledge of MS Excel/SAP/Oracle/ERP.
