- Responsible for technical support and sustaining engineering of a manufacturing area in a semiconductor company or a product manufacturing company.
- Establishes operating equipment specifications, improves manufacturing techniques, and introduces new process equipment to production.
- Interfaces with product design and development to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
- Provide engineering disposition for non-conforming RM/Process/Product
- Build engineering samples as required by internal/external customers
- Provide technical support to RM/Process/Product/Equipment related queries from cross functional departments.
- Resolve SRS failures linked with manufacturing process
- Provide technical support for product engineering for product & R&D activities.
- Provide process training to production operators and production engineers
- Represent process engineering in internal & external process audits and resolve audit observations
- Participate in internal/external process improvement events/competitions
- Provide accurate & timely update on various professional assignments/projects
- Adopt a fact based & data driven approach towards process
- Present data/analysis in a professional & effective manner
- Drive continuous process improvement/cost reduction initiatives
- Achieve defined quarterly/annual departmental objectives
- 5+ Yrs of relevant experience in electronics/Semiconductor Manufacturing setup.
- Define, maintain and update bill of material for a product
- Define, maintain and improve manufacturing process using PDCA/POKA-YOKE/KAIZEN
- Define, maintain and update process documentation including WI/RM/Assembly/Tools/Fixtures drawings/FMEA/PCP/PFD
- Maintain & improve A-Z yield of the product using 6 sigma methodology
- Resolve internal/external customer complaints using G8D process
- Reduce cost of RM/Process/Product using value engineering methodology
- Manage major RM/process/product/supplier/line move related changes using PCRB/DR process.
