We support today's growing mobile and cloud computing markets with a portfolio of power, thermal and infrastructure management solutions.Position Summary:The EMS Technical Analyst will be responsible for management, development and support of the Entitlement Management System application, Thales Sentinel for Vertiv. The EMS Technical Analyst will cover the day-to-day development and administration of the EMS platform. The role will handle many of the common development and administrative tasks, including managing all instances, user administration, development backlog and standards, configuration review, configuration migration, platform integrations monitoring, and issue resolution. This role will also be responsible for development and implementation efforts regarding upgrades, enhancements, defects, and new functionality.Key DutiesProvide development and administrative support of all implemented areas of EMS for VertivPerform development on the backlog of enhancements and defectsSupport all EMS integrations to other platforms in the portfolio - OracleCoordinate and implement requirements using Workflow, JavaScript, REST/SOAP, Orchestration, and other EMS supported configurationsPerform hands-on technical design, solution architecture, architecture roadmaps, prototyping and proof-of-concepts, and development tasks as required in support of current and new products onboarded onto the platformAct as a liaison between Engineering team, Sales Offering team, Business Functions, and System Integrators to drive enhancementsContributes into creating Functional Requirement DocumentationAnalyze production configuration issues and resolve any functional gapsGenerate and maintain documentation for changes made to systems. Assist in the review of documentation created by team members to ensure it is understood, accurate and follows current documentation standardsCollaborate with the Project Management Office to estimate the delivery timelines, estimate resourcing needs, and identify risks & issues upfrontCoordinate with onshore/offshore teams alike, manage task assignments within the team, and take ownership of deliverablesKeep on top of tracking assigned tasks/deliverables, risks & issues and report to Management as neededMonitor and drive issues to resolutionParticipate in validation/testing and release activities as neededEnsure that any activity, task and responsibility required by role in terms of the International Trade ComplianceRegulation is managed and performed in full compliance with the Company ITC certification programSchool Background / Working Seniority2 year experience operating with EMS softwareInternational experience is a plusBachelors Degree or equivalentBasic SkillsGood command of EnglishTechnical / Functional skillsExposure to EMS applicationsExposure to Oracle Cloud / various CRM or ERPExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in Agile\Scrum and Waterfall methodologiesExperience building integrations (SOAP/REST) in order to automate communication with other platforms as requiredSkilled at managing multiple work streams, prioritizing work to meet deadlinesAnalytical, and Problem-solving skills are requiredExcellent Communication and Teamwork skillsProcess Discipline and Documentation skills essentialKnowledge of ITIL v3 an advantageReady to move beyond own area of comfortAbility to be adaptable and flexible while responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuationsAbout the Team:Work AuthorizationNo calls or agencies please.
