Part of the Digital team, you will lead IoT initiatives across global businesses of Smart Manufacturing (IIoT) as well as Connected Products (CIoT)
The IIoT track will include working with manufacturing & operations stakeholders to implement & drive Industry 4.0 initiatives.
The CIoT track will include working with R&D and Marketing teams to conceptualize, design & implement IoT-based connected products.
Ultimately, help the delivery teams on how to leverage IoT & Analytics to derive competitive advantage for the business and to create best in class solutions.

Skills and attributes for success

Minimum 3+ years' experience in execution of any IIOT, SCADA, MES Technologies Projects
Knowledge in Azure IoT Edge/AWS Greengrass,Kepware
Hands on Experience on different plant data sources such as OPC-UA/DA, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Profinet, Ethernet, MQTT. etc. to extract machine and process data
Have good knowledge on RESTful API's. Should be able to extract the data from 3rd party API's.
Develop real-time control system software for automated assembly systems, including the programming of any vendor make PLCs, SCADA, MES, HMI etc.
Shall be good in writing scripts/queries/Stored Procedures in Python, SQL & MySQL.
Good understanding of industrial data management methodologies such as historians (GE proficy, OSI PI etc.), Unified Name Space Highbyte and other industry 4.0 methodologies.
Must have experience in delivering and implementing IoT Solutions from concept to launch of connected products such as Connected Forklifts, Smart Appliances etc.
Work closely with product engineering, product managers, marketing, and technology teams to develop a IoT SAAS/ PAAS Solution strategy & roadmap
Identify new features/enhancements that can help customers, service teams & R&D teams to enhance the smart product value proposition.
Own and maintain the entire IoT solution architecture starting at the individual device through connectivity, data collection and storage, cloud, middleware, and security.

To qualify for the role, you must have

BE/BTech/MTech with a sound industry experience of 3 to 6 Years
Minimum of two years of work experience in IoT client projects using a cloud platform.
Excellent communication skills with consulting experience preferred

Ideally, you'll also have

Experience in domains like Manufacturing, P&U, Telecommunications, Supply Chain, Automotive
Foster teamwork and lead by example
Participate in the organization-wide people initiatives
Training and mentoring of project resources
Experience on Azure IoT Edge, DPS, Kepware, Rockwell, AWS IoTCore, Greengrass, Device management
