- Monitor and manage payment exceptions, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
- Assist in the reconciliation of payment accounts and ensure balance accuracy.
- Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality when handling sensitive payment information.
- Stay updated with payment regulations and industry best practices, implementing necessary changes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payment operations across the bank.
- Provide training and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
- Conduct periodic audits to identify and address any payment processing inefficiencies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a payment operations or banking environment.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and colleagues.
