This includes handling cash deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, as well as providing support for electronic payment systems. Your role is vital in maintaining the bank's reputation for reliable and secure payment services.Responsibilities:
  • Process cash and check deposits, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt resolutions to payment-related issues.
  • Monitor and manage payment exceptions, taking necessary actions to mitigate risks.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of payment accounts and ensure balance accuracy.
  • Maintain a high level of security and confidentiality when handling sensitive payment information.
  • Stay updated with payment regulations and industry best practices, implementing necessary changes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless payment operations across the bank.
  • Provide training and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
  • Conduct periodic audits to identify and address any payment processing inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a payment operations or banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing systems and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • A customer-centric approach and a willingness to provide exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and priorities.
  • A proactive mindset and a desire to continuously improve payment operations.
