
Mechanical design engineer Upgrades

- Lead the upgrade developments for PP&T business stream including project management and system engineering role
- Evaluate and propose technical solutions, decide best way forward with technical product manager, prepare and pass validation steps with appropriate governance
- Do proper analysis and required tests to ensure safety, quality and performances.
- Ensure requested deliverables creation as per product creation process, including drawings, BoM, technical documentation.
- Maintain product during its lifecycle including end-of-life activities.
- Ensure that feedback from all phases in the order implementation, including commissioning and warranty period, leads to improvements of the product.
- Coach others on the upgrades
- Education & Experience: Master's degree in Engineering (or equivalent) with 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, preferably in the food or dairy industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CAD tools (preferably Autodesk Inventor & Vault), SAP ERP (BoM creation, codification, budget tracking), and MS Office.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of dairy/food production processes, hygienic design, and food safety regulations.
- Engineering Methods: Familiar with development processes, FMEA, risk analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Cross-Functional Skills: Basic knowledge of electrical and automation systems is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, communication, and coaching abilities; fluent in English (French is a plus).
