WHAT YOU'LL DO Complete software testing and activities in conjunction for user stories within the Agile SDLC process (products supported may be more technical in nature, i.e. SDK or API type products) Review System Specifications/Requirements documents, user stories and create verification test cases (based on those requirements), and execute test cases. Investigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes. Scripting automated tests from manual tests in a programming language (e.g. Python, Java, Javascript, etc.) Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing, develop test datasets and execute automation scripts (to ensure application software releases are of high quality) Review code diff analysis and develop robust regression test strategy Create or consult on verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices to incorporate the automated tests and review with relevant stakeholders (dev and quality). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU'LL BRING Required Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline. 5 years' experience in Software Testing and/or Software Quality Assurance. 2-4 years' experience working as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Must be technically strong and have experience testing mobile applications Must have hands on coding experience in Java, Python or related technology Must be able to complete coding assignment for automation independently or with minimal guidance Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred Medical Device experience strongly preferred. Experience in an agile development environment preferred. Experience with embedded systems and integration testing with external systems preferred Cyber security, medical mobile applications or cloud computing experience preferred.
