In the Test Architect role you will be responsible for defining the overall Test strategy for Ready Upgrade , defining the testability requirements by reviewing the SRS document , review of the test design, defining the test framework for system and software requirements by understanding SW architecture, design, test case and responsible for execution support through quality automation, simulation in CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Delivery) pipeline. You must have experience with Python language with strong OOPS & programming skills. It's preferred to have prior experience in automation testing or framework development or in embedded domain knowledge. Experience in Automotive domain would be a PLUS.Your teamThis role requires individual contribution at technical level and to work with peer technical teams.What You Will DoDefining the Test Strategy for the Ready Upgrade Product including Functional Safety and Cyber Security aspects.Defining the Test Framework for the Ready Upgrade automation strategy.Automation script development with Python language is primary responsibility
HW bench setup, SW flash, basic level troubleshoot of Automation devices
Join sessions with global stakeholders regards test case grooming, analysis, estimation, test alignment, issue debug
Ensure on time delivery of the Test Execution.
Technical & domain knowledge of Harman product would be essential to perform the daily activities with strong interpersonal skill
Work closely with the Manual test teams, domain developers to ensure that scripts developed for intend specification is covered.
Develop Test strategy as required for HIL, SIL, MIL testing
Participate actively in technical meets, workshops
Work closely with the Project test leads for execution of project goals
Responsible for ensuring that the Test scripts are bug free, proper in implementation & trail run in HW is satisfactory with consistent result
Responsible for the using the organization level Automation test framework and adapting it to the context of the project automation.
Responsible to support the test scripts are integrated into the various stages of the build pipeline as part of Continuous integration and continuous delivery approach
Work in close collaboration with the Architects, Testers and Developers.
Work closely with the project team as part of the SCRUM team organization and follow the agile way of workingWhat You NeedStrong knowledge with Python programming language
Strong OOPS, UML knowledge
Good analytical skills to understand, evaluate and provide solution for given complex scenarios and case studies
Knowledge with repository software's like Jira, IBM tools etc
Hands on experience with any market available test frameworks or customer proprietary test framework
Minimum 15+ years of programming experience is preferred with an Engineering graduate degree
Good experience in Git, Gerrit and Jenkins
Good knowledge in Linux or Android
System level debuggingAutomotive domain knowledge would be a PLUS.What Makes You EligibleBe willing to travel up to 5%, domestic and international travel
Experience in test methodologies, tools and methods
Good knowledge in testing embedded systems
Strong Know-How of technical/automotive standards in infotainment or telematics software projects is plus
