JobType: full-timeRequirementsWe are looking for a passionate and skilled Automation Engineer with a strong foundation in Python programming and Selenium-based automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to ensure the quality and performance of our applications. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment where your automation expertise will directly impact the delivery of high-quality software products.Key Responsibilities:Automation Design & Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
  • Build and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
  • Ensure test coverage for both frontend and backend applications.
  • Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
Test Execution & Reporting
  • Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and log defects in defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with the QA and development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
  • Generate detailed test reports and dashboards to communicate automation results and coverage metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for performance and load testing and automate where feasible.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Work closely with software developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to understand application features and create corresponding test automation.
  • Provide guidance and support to other QA team members in developing automation skills.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve automation processes and productivity.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging tools, and automation trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation with a focus on Python and Selenium.
  • Strong knowledge of automation frameworks like PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.
  • Experience integrating automation into CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
  • Good understanding of software testing methodologies – Agile, BDD, TDD, etc.
  • Proficient with version control tools like Git.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
  • Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or requests in Python.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based automation platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
