- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
- Build and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and system testing.
- Ensure test coverage for both frontend and backend applications.
- Integrate test automation into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and log defects in defect management tools.
- Collaborate with the QA and development teams to resolve issues and verify fixes.
- Generate detailed test reports and dashboards to communicate automation results and coverage metrics.
- Identify opportunities for performance and load testing and automate where feasible.
- Work closely with software developers, product managers, and manual QA engineers to understand application features and create corresponding test automation.
- Provide guidance and support to other QA team members in developing automation skills.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve automation processes and productivity.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging tools, and automation trends.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in test automation with a focus on Python and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks like PyTest, unittest, or Robot Framework.
- Experience integrating automation into CI/CD environments using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies – Agile, BDD, TDD, etc.
- Proficient with version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.
- Solid debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or requests in Python.
- Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or Locust.
- Knowledge of cloud-based automation platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
- Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
