- Ensure full compliance in terms of monthly GST payments, return filings, MIS.
- Ensure compliance with all the vital statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization
- Handle the GST Audits and Pre-GST assessments conducted by tax authorities
- Respond to queries raised by statutory departments related to indirect taxation in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Respond to queries related to indirect taxation raised by tax department in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Ensure timely action is taken on appeals, and pursues effective resolution, compilation and spread work for the same.
- Liaising with lawyers and coordinate to ensure that the company is appropriately represented before statutory bodies and courts.
- Looking for experienced individual having CA / CMA / LLB qualification with 10-15 years of experience in Indirect Taxation in ERP (SAP) environment; Experience in Big Four consulting and / or large manufacturing company will be preferred
- Ensure submission of reply to all queries raised by the department
- Implement effective documentation system for maintaining documents related return filings, replies, litigations etc., and ensure that the documents are easily retrievable.
- Manage performance of the team and ensure that team is working in line with organizational value system
- The profile will require the person to take care of Indirect Tax Compliance, effective Indirect tax management and deft litigation, Tax Strategy, identifying tax planning opportunities and implementing the same. The profile requires travel across various States in India.
