Senior Engineer - Hardware Power Electronics

• Component level calculation and selection for power electronics systems and subsystems like Buck converter, boost converter, Surcharge suppressor, Sensing, and protection interlock.
• Design of power electronics systems such as Buck/Boost converter, PFC, LLC, 3Ph/2Ph inverter bridge, Filters, Isolation systems etc.
• Desing of Electro-Magnetic Components such as transformer, Inductor etc.
• Simulation and analysis based on applicable IEC & IEEE standards, AIS standards and other relevant Standards.
• Schematic design of Power electronic system.
• Power electronics PCB design based on Ampacity, Creepage, Isolation requirements & EMI & EMC requirements.
• Collaborate with Electronics hardware and firmware design for master/slave controller design and development.
• Collaborate with Mechanical design team for Enclosure design, Component placement, thermal management system design and CAE analysis considerations.
• DFA, DFM, BOM preparation and Cost analysis.

• B.E./ B.Tech./ M. Tech/M.E. Electronics, Electronics and Communications, Power electronics.
• Experience in Electronics simulation software like Psim, Simulink, Pspice etc.
• Experience in PCB and Schematic design software like Altium, Allegro, OrCAD etc.
• Experience in components selections such as Mosfets, IGBT, Drivers, Transformer, Isolation capacitors, Inductors, Capacitors, Shunts, Diodes, Filters, etc.
• Experience in Version management of Hardware design.
• Experience is usage of various EMI/EMC, thermal suppression devices and components.
